Mini-Vegas in Dubai
The MGM Mirage and Pearl Dubai FZ LLC are forming a partnership to develop properties in Dubai. The $4 billion mixed-use Dubai Pearl project will have a 250-room Bellagio Hotel, a 350-room MGM Grand hotel and a 30-suite Skyloft hotel. The hotels will be owned by Pearl Dubai and managed by MGM Mirage Hospitality, a wholly owned subsidiary of MGM Mirage. It will be a Mini-Las Vegas without the gambling as per the Muslim ban on gambling, no casinos are allowed in Dubai.
