Best Kept Secret in Las Vegas: NBA Summer League

Tickets are on sale for the NBA's summer league games in Las Vegas. Twenty-one NBA teams, including 10 who competed in the 2009 NBA Playoffs, will be playing each day at 1 PM at the Thomas & Mack and at the Cox Pavilion from July 10 through July 19, 2009. The matchups will be announced later in June. The ticket prices are $25 for adults and $15 for 12 and under.

The NBA summer leagues feature NBA teams with special summer rosters that are different from their regular season rosters. Summer teams include rookies, undrafted players and veteran free agents looking for a job. Also, a number of veteran players show up to play every year. The games are exciting to watch because most of these players have a lot to prove.
