New Financial Blogs Worth Reading

Reno-based Navellier & Associates manages nearly $4.5 billion for individual investors and institutions. The company has decided to launch two financial blogs, the first by a money management firm. The "All Cap" blog will keep readers informed about what’s driving the stock market on a daily basis and the "Market Observations" blog will feature a "Chart of the Day." The content on these blogs will be written by the firm’s researchers and by Louis Navellier, the founder and Chief Investment Officer of Navellier & Associates.

Louis Navellier is frequently in the press as a financial pundit. His monthly newsletter, Emerging Growth, was rated number 1 in the 20-year category from 1985-2005 by the Hulbert Financial Digest. The Digest also noted that from 1985 to mid-2007, the Emerging Growth newsletter had gained 5,387.9% while during the same time period the S&P 500 made a 1,456.9% return.

According to Navellier & Associates, blogging in the financial industry has been difficult because of the strict SEC regulations designed to protect the market from fraudulent hype and manipulation.
